All we know about the new PlayStation 4

If you're thinking about buying a PlayStation 4 maybe you should wait until next September 7th. It is expected that Sony present day society a new version of the console that will offer more than a cosmetic change.

For months there has been talk of the "PlayStation 4 Neo", the code name with which is known to this enhanced version of the current PS4. The director of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Andrew House, has confirmed to the Financial Times the existence of this update of the console, designed to offer a virtual reality experience that will live up to what they already offer devices like Oculus VR and HTC Lives.

This new PS4 improve aspects such as CPU, GPU and RAM with the aim of offering 4K video playback and standardize 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second for games.

The emergence of a new model of PS4 would also be closely linked to the Sony bid for virtual reality. In the words of Andrew House, Sony's intention is that the two models coexist PlayStation 4 during the life cycle of the console. "All games are compatible with standard PS4, and move all or a large part of them will be also the most powerful PS4" he explained.
