Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 has a 10.1-inch screen slightly larger than its predecessor (9.7), but the real difference is in its aspect ratio: 4: 3 to 16: 9. This widescreen format makes, when placed vertically, we can see more information about documents or web pages; while in the horizontal position, enjoying higher quality of multimedia playback. In this regard, the panel has Full HD resolution, sufficient to provide clarity and detail in the images. It also shows bright colors and has a sensor able to adapt its luminosity to external conditions.

The frames around this screen are reduced and the glass that covers it is well integrated with the housing, made of plastic, one of the clearest that there is a Premium model indicative. Moreover, with this material a surface with good grip is achieved and that repels dirt quite well. It does not stop being comfortable hold for long periods of time with one hand, since it is rather heavy (525 grams).
They have been included capacitive buttons and the usual physical button center and two speakers on the bottom that offer a higher than normal volume and a remarkable quality. It is definitely one of the highlights. And that despite its location in horizontal format it makes the sound comes out only by one side of the terminal.
At the rear camera, which protrudes a few millimeters and features 8 megapixel resolution and some advanced features like a Pro mode or the HDR mode, underused in devices of these features it is located. They are not sufficient to achieve impressive results, although for occasional use. The front camera, 2 megapixel, also is somewhat fair.

With 8 cores, the processor chosen for the occasion is a Exynos7870 developed by the firm itself. It is common in many of its models, so it was not a surprise. This chip built in 14 nanometer, is up to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, with which it shares its essential features: good performance, low fuel consumption and low price. Therefore, it is ideal for mid-range devices like this. Accompanied by 2GB of RAM, it offers adequate performance: it is not the fastest on the market but it works smoothly and does not suffer blockages. Its biggest limitation, though, appears in the most advanced games in terms of graphics and demanding performance.
The battery life on the other hand, ranges between 10 and 12 hours HD video playback. It's not bad at all. Furthermore, to conclude the section of the configuration, it is necessary to refer to its 16 GB of internal memory, expandable through a microSD memory card and complemented with 100 GB of free storage on OneDrive. It is not the only application of Microsoft available as complete suite brings preinstalled Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint ...).

Marshmallow runs Android personalized with TouchWiz, which adds some very interesting applications and features. One of the most important is the ability to use two apps simultaneously, splitting the screen between the two. This option is not available in all apps, such as opening itself allow both the gallery and notes, or Play Music S Planner calendar. With it's comfortable performing the usual tasks of a tablet (browse, read, watch or play multimedia content) and, for less than 300 euros and its screen size is a highly recommended option.
